Closed!

Today, after almost exactly a full year of scouring East Bay real estate listings we closed on a North Oakland Craftsman built in 1913.  The location is ideal, with close proximity to Berkeley, Emeryville and the City.
I won't bore you on the details, but anyone who has been following the saga of the closing on this probate property knows that obtaining a property through a court probate sale has its shares of advantages and nerve-shattering disadvantages.  I am thankful that it is over and worked out ok.
Now with keys in hand a new chapter starts for this house.  If I am not mistaken this will be the second time this house has changed ownership.  From the looks of the last remodel it changed hands last in the mid to late 1950's.  I'll do some research on that subject--look for an update.
For now just take the virtual walk through:

Thanks for tuning in.
